Really enjoyed it all - the beautiful old-bar, friendly locals, good juke box and a BLT that was good and plenty. And the fun folks at the bar!
Bar Expansion Opportunities:
- Extend operating hours
Reinstating a closing time of 2am would capture the late-night crowd: night owls, second-shifters, and service industry workers.
Pre-pandemic we would be mostly open until 2am on the weekends and quite often on the weekdays as well. To date there are still no other late venues in town.
- Add live entertainment
You can invite musicians to perform indoors or outdoors, day or night. Larger, special events, can be up to 4 times a year. Additional permitting is needed for these events
- Promote location for filming
The surrounding area’s active production scene is increasing due to state and county incentives. This can generate more filming location fees, catering orders, and crew meal business. This is a unique, low effort income source that also boosts visibility.
- Leverage area growth & prosperity
A new housing development with hundreds of homes is underway just over six miles away, bringing an influx of potential new customers. Early outreach and targeted promotions could establish the venue as their go to dining and social destination.
Compared to state or national averages household earnings are rising quickly in the local area. This is advantageous in respect to ticket size, pricing and maintaining profit margins.
- Lottery and gaming revenue
Becoming a Lotto Hot Spot or offering scratch‑off tickets can create an additional draw, generate commissions, and encourage repeat visits from casual players.
